5 reviews. 5 of 5 stars. On a Triumph Tiger – like better than Scorpion Trails, handle well in the cold, very little wandering feel in gravel, no slipping in dirt, sheds mud well. Another says they like the Anakee 3 better than Anakee 2, glued to the road.
On a 990 Adventure – Anakee 3 feels smoother than Anakee 2, also grip better off road than Anakee 2. On a 1200 GSA – prefer Anakee 3 over Anakee 2, roll better, have better cornering, did as well or better on rocky, sandy, muddy. Another rider feels the Anakee 3 provides a smoother ride than Metzeler Tourance, handle similar on fire roads. One rider got 7,000 miles.
Tested on a 2013 BMW R1200GS and Tiger Explorer XC. Tire provides great feedback on the road. Took a lot of throttle to get them to break loose. Anakee 3 provides more confidence on turn-in than Anakee 2. www.tiger-explorer.com In DEKRA independent test the Anakee 3 lasted 25% longer than Tourance EXP.
