The Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 was tops in the Motorrad annual tire review. In total, the S22 won or tied for first in eight of nine categories. The tire is very precise through the corners. Braking distance tied for the best. The wet braking was similar to dry braking performance, which is noteworthy.

Reviews by Source

42 reviews, 4.9 of 5 stars. One rider says it is a great track day tire, heats up fast, performance similar to Q3 but with longer life, at a better price. Another prefers the S22 over the SuperCorsa, Q3, Q3+ and S21.

15 reviews, 4.7 of 5 stars. One rider likes the S22 over the S21, cornering much improved, wet performance is excellent. On an R6, on the track with 35-40% of tread, felt the tire lost a lot of grip, didn't have problems like that with the Q3+. On a 2015 Street Triple R, best bang for the buck, prefer Rosso Corsa II over the S22. Another prefers the S22 over the S21, also prefer over the Angel GT, feel grippier. On a 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R, tires grip well, feel safe, easy to transition in the corners. On an S1000XR, feedback less immediate than Rosso II, but likes that need to be more deliberate, sticky/soft tire.

39 reviews, 4.8 of 5 stars. On a 2019 ZX6R, tire warms up quickly, gives a lot of feedback, got 5k miles from rear, have used on 4 different bikes. Another says the profile is flatter than BT015 or BT016. On a Super Duke, tires heat up quickly, have loads of grip side to side, transition is similar to Pirelli Rosso 3. On an FZ-09, more than impressed with traction. Another prefers the S22 over the Dunlop Q3+. On a 2007 GSXR 1000, prefers S22 over the S21, noticeable improvement in the wet. Another prefers the S22 over the Michelin Pilot Power 3.
